Belina Connect Module

The Belina PayrollHR Connect Module allows employees to have a paperless, direct and immediate access to the Human Resource department.  This access is available at any time, from any place, via smartphone or computer.  The Connect Module is a web-based application that has its own secure database that does not contain much of the sensitive information that is stored in Belina PayrollHR.

Applications

Employees may be allowed to apply for selected types of transaction, including:

Advances

Apply for an advance

Leave

Apply for various types of leave

Loans

Apply for various types of loan

My Documents

Upload employee documents

Overtime

Request or claim overtime hours

Masterfile changes

Ability to update specified fields in the employee's own Employee Master Record

Suggestions

Make suggestions related to a number of business areas, including business opportunities, health and safety, staff welfare and suspicious activities

Timesheets

Submit timesheets

 

Select which application types will be available to employees.  If for example, company policy does not allow for loans or advances then these application types can be suppressed and not displayed.

 

Application Rules:

The system can be setup to reject applications that fall outside agreed parameters.  For example rejecting a loan application that exceeds the maximum loan amount, repayment period or when there is already a loan balance outstanding.

 

Approval Paths

Applications go through the approval path that has been set up for that transaction and employee.  Each person in the the approval path can 'Recommend' or 'Oppose' and application, with the final approver able to enter whether the application has been 'Approved' or 'Rejected'.

Approval Paths can be customized for specified groups of employee and transaction.

Comments made by approvers in the Approval path are available to the final Approver.

Each Approver may send Queries to other employees, and receive feedback, to support their decision.  These queries are carried under the Notifications section.

Employees can see the progress of their application as goes down the Approval Path,

If selected, email alerts can be sent to approvers when an application reaches their inbox.  The applicant can also receive an email alert when the application has been approved or rejected.

Reports

There are a variety of reports that are available to employees.  They can print copies of applications made, a history of applications as well as viewing and printing old payslips and tax displays.
