The noticeboard is a place that is visible on the desktop of all Belina Connect Users that can be used to communicate with employees. Notices and other notifications can be posted to display for a specified period.
Administrators are able to Create Notices for the Noticeboard. To do this go to the:
- 'Admin', then Noticeboard Manager menu options
A table of notices then displays, to add a new notice:
- Press the 'Insert' key
- Enter the 'Title', or short description, explaining the content of the notice
- Type in the 'Body' the text of the notice
- 'Valid From' enter the date on which a published notice will start being displayed on the dashboard of employees
- 'Valid To' enter the date on which the published notice will stop being displayed on the dashboard of employees
- Click on 'Choose File' to browse for and select a file that will be attached to the notice when displayed on the dashboard of employees
- Tick on 'Publish' when satisfied that the notice has been prepared and ready to be displayed on the dashboard of employees.
- Press 'Save' to save changes that have been made to the notice before exiting.
The notice displays on the Dashboard of each Connect Module user:
Placing a tick in the 'Drop' chechbox removes the notice from the noticeboard. In this way employees can select which notices to keep displaying, and which ones are no longer required.
