General Log

The 'General Log' is the default screen that displayed when accessing the 'Clock Administration' menu option.

 

ClockAdministration

 

There are a number of action buttons on the screen:

 

Get Log

Use this button to download attendance transactions from the clock/ terminal.

 

Save Clockings

When the 'Get Log' data has been downloaded from the terminal it is displayed on screen.  Once satisfied with the data it can then be saved into the Time Control database using the 'Save Clockings' button.

 

Show Status

Press the 'Show Status' button to show the clock/ terminal information.  This shows the user valuable information including:

how many users are logged onto the clock,  

how many fingerprints,

how many administrators,

number of attendance records stored,

the language that the clock has been set up using ( English, Ndebele or Shona)

 

ShowStatus

 

Clear Log

Use this button to clear the attendance transactions that are stored on the terminal through the network.

 

Test Connections

Use this button to test the connectivity of to the clock/ terminal.  Use the horizontal scroll-bar to see the message 'Connection Succeeded' in the right hand 'Status' column.

If the connection is unsuccessful then notice the ERROR message displayed at the bottom of the screen.
