Checking and Adjustment

It is important to ensure that the data captured is correct. The type of checks that would be done varies from one organization to another.

 

When the data is downloaded from the terminals check the terminal data to ensure that the clockings are complete and that there are no missing clockings.

 

Ensure that the shifts in the system are setup correctly to produce the correct standard hours per employee.  Also ensure that each employee has been allocated to the correct shift rotation

 

Typically in the Time Control Module one would check that the 'Time Card' for anomalies such as:

too much overtime for an employee or department

unexpected shorttime

check to see whether there are early clockings that need to be incorporated into overtime.

any hours worked on public or non working days are accounted for as overtime.

 

If there are adjustments to be made then process the adjustments before printing off final reports for the period.
