SQL Features
Include:

SQL database with its own password protection |

SQL authentication. The User has to log into Belina PayrollHR which checks to see whether they are a valid User and that the User has the required privileges. |

A background log is maintained of the User, Date and Time that someone: |

Views a form |

Updates a form |

Changes a critical field |

Processes transactions and what transaction method was used |

Prints a report |
Reports
Security related logs can be viewed in reports found under the ‘Exceptions’ menu:
An activity report showing the User, Date, Time and Activity undertaken on the system |
(Go to the 'View', ' Exceptions', 'Audit' menu options). |

Shows Pay Rate Changes over a selected range of periods. |
(Go to the 'View', ' Exceptions', 'Pay Rate Changes' menu options). |

Shows changes to the employee masterfile over the range of periods selected. |
(Go to the 'View', ' Exceptions', 'Masterfile Changes' menu options). |

Shows pay rates of selected employees |
(Go to the 'View' ,'Exceptiosns', 'Pay Rate Analysis' |

Shows the movement of employees between departments |
(Go to the 'View', 'Edit Menu Listing', 'Head Count Movement' both Detail and Summary reports |

Within the User Level a user can be restricted to: |
o |
Menu options |

Employee Master Fields, and |
o |
Transaction Codes and and in some instances the the values of certain transaction codes that are based on Rate of Pay can be hidden from unauthorized access. |
In addition to the foregoing there is a Lock feature in the system that can be activated manually at any time by Going to the 'Utilities' menu and selecting 'Lock/ Unlock'. Once the payroll is locked no further processing is allowed but reports can be printed. The lock feature can also be automatically triggered after any one of the following:

Calculation Routine, |
• |
printing cheques, |
• |
coinage analysis, or |
• |
bank transfer |
The lock is automatically turned off after a period end or when an administrator username and password is entered.
Activity Log
Belina PayrollHR has an activity log which maintains a log of what various Users in the system have been doing and the date and time that it was done.
