We advise that an interim backup is taken before doing any of the following process. This precaution will enable the system to be put back into the position it was in before undertaking the procedure. This would be done by restoring the backup
Obtain an import file from PSMAS to import shortfalls and subscriptions into the Payroll Module.
PSMAS shortfalls
To import the PSMAS files:
•Select the 'Utilities', 'Import' and 'Medical' then either 'PSMAS Shortfalls' or 'PSMAS Subscriptions' menu options
•Lookup the file using the elipsis button against 'Import From'
•Use the dropdown menu to select the Medical Expenses for shortfalls, usually this is Code 935.
•Transactions are displayed on the table
•Check for accuracy
•If satisfied press 'Import' to import the transactions
