The only setup required for Aids Levy is to setup the current Aids Levy percentage which is set each year by the Ministry of Finance in the annual budget announcement. The Aids Levy percentage for the 2024 tax year has been set to 3%.  This percentage has remained at this level for a number of years but may change.

 

To set up the Aids Levy Percentage:

- Go to the 'Setup' then 'Tax' menu options

- Enter 3% against 'Aids Levy'

- Click on 'OK'

 

The Aids Levy amount payable by an employee is re-calculated each time the Calculation Routine is run and comes automatically onto the Payslip Input.  There is no need to create the Transaction Code.
