Belina PayrollHR has been written to take advantage of system resources available in modern computer equipment.  Larger payrolls need more hardware resources to ensure fast and efficient processing. SQL 2016 is the oldest version that is currently used and that ideally requires an i5 or i7 (or equivalent) computer processor for optimal performance.  A typical computer server would generally not use technology older than 6 years old and have:  

In a network environment 'Client' workstations would not need the above specifications.  These for most environments will suffice:

Hard Disk

Sufficient free space on the hard drive is necessary for Windows to work effectively and for data storage as transactions accumulate in the payroll.  The RAM requirement should be sufficient to ensure that Windows can operate within the specifications that particular version.  Solid State Drives (SSD) should be used by all clients with a large number of employees (exceeding 1000).

Every transaction made since the program is first installed is recorded.  This results in an increased use of disk space over time.  Old data can be cleared from the storage using data utilities.

Printers

The size of the payroll will determine the type of printer best suited to the organization with speed of printing being the primary criteria. Belina PayrollHR reports can be printed to dot matrix, laser or inkjet printers.  Laser and inkjet printers, are mostly used.  Some clients with heavy printing requirements use high speed dot matrix printers.

Belina PayrollHR works with the Windows 10 operating system but can work on older versions.  The installation will work on both 64 bit (X64) and 32 bit (X86) Windows Operating Systems.

Dot Net Framework

In a Windows 10 environment Belina PayrollHR needs the Dot Net Framework to work.  Download or Enable versions 3.5 and 4.5 of the Dot Net Framework.  

SQL

Belina PayrollHR comes installed either with Microsoft's free copy of SQL Express 2016, which is has the basic features of its full product.  Clients with a large number of employees, or the requirement to process on a number of workstations on their network may need to consider purchasing the full SQL product from Microsoft.

Microsoft Office

In order to enable the import and export of data ensure that you have a registered copy of Microsoft Office.  

Apple Computers

Belina PayrollHR also operates on iPad and Apple systems that emulate Microsoft Windows.
