For individual users or client machines in a network environment, the following hardware ensures a smooth experience with Windows 11 and modern office integrations:

•Processor: Intel Core i5 or better.

•Memory: 8 GB RAM minimum (16 GB is strongly recommended for multitasking).

•Operating System: Windows 11 or newer.

•Required Framework: .NET Framework 4.8.

•Productivity: A registered version of Microsoft Office (for report exporting and integration).

Server Specifications (High Performance)

For organizations managing large databases or centralized networks, the server should not utilize technology older than six years. To support SQL Server 2019 or better and larger employee counts, the following specs are required:

•Processor: Intel Xeon E5 Family or better.

•Memory: At least 32 GB RAM or better

•Storage: 500 GB Solid State Drive (SSD) (Essential for fast database indexing).

•Operating System: Windows Server 2016 or newer.

•Database Manager: SQL Server 2019 Standard Edition (required for licenses exceeding 1,000 employees).

•Frameworks: .NET Framework 4.8 and Microsoft Office 2013 or newer.

Hard Disk

Sufficient free space on the hard drive is necessary for Windows to work effectively and for data storage as transactions accumulate in the payroll. The RAM requirement should be sufficient to ensure that Windows can operate within the specifications that particular version. All clients should use solid State Drives (SSD) with a large number of employees (exceeding 1000).

Printers

The size of the payroll will determine the type of printer best suited to the organization with speed of printing being the primary criteria. Selecting the right printer for Belina PayrollHR depends largely on the volume of your payroll, with print speed being the most critical factor for efficiency. Ultimately, your choice should balance the number of employees against the time required to complete a full print run.

Operating System & Architecture

Belina PayrollHR is designed for versatility across Windows environments. Windows 11 is the recommended standard for security and performance. The system supports both 64-bit (x64) architectures, allowing it to run on a wide range of hardware.

Software Frameworks (.NET)

The application relies on the Microsoft .NET Framework to execute core payroll functions. To ensure full functionality with the latest updates, Version 4.8 is the current requirement for current environments.

SQL Database Management

Belina PayrollHR comes installed either with Microsoft's free copy of SQL Express 2019 and 2022, which is has the basic features of its full product. Clients with a large number of employees, or the requirement to process on a number of workstations on their network may need to consider purchasing the full SQL product from Microsoft.

The software utilizes Microsoft SQL Server to manage employee and transaction data. For high-headcount organizations (over 1,000 employees) or those with intensive concurrent network usage, SQL Server 2019 (or newer) is recommended to unlock faster processing and higher data capacity.

Microsoft Office Integration

A registered copy of Microsoft Office (2013 or newer) is essential for seamless data flow. This license enables the system’s robust import/export features, allowing you to move payroll data directly into Excel or generate Word-based reports.

Apple & Mobile Compatibility

While Belina PayrollHR is built for Windows, for Belina to be accessible on Apple (Mac) and iPad systems, it is only done through Windows emulation software or virtualization environments, ensuring that Mac users can manage payroll without dedicated PC hardware.
