If the payroll is being implemented mid way through a tax year it is necessary to capture history data.  The Final Deduction System (FDS) bases its calculations on earnings to date and a projection thereof for the ensuing periods of the year.

Having followed through the processes of setting up the payroll, entering employees and creating earning and deduction codes the payroll is now ready for processing the payrolls that have been paid prior to the implementation of Belina PayrollHR.

There are three methods of capturing the historic transactions:

Method 1 - Import data

For larger payrolls - If your existing payroll can export either the employee master and transaction data to a delimited file or to spreadsheet then we can import the data into the Belina Payroll

Method 2 - Reprocess past periods

Used if there is time to process the history and then the current period data.

Method 3 - Process summary data through the History file

If there is an urgency to process the current period data first and then capture history later
