To access the The 'Medical' tab:
- Go to the 'Edit', 'Employee Master' menu options.
- Select the employee you wish to change
- Select the 'Medical' tab.
Set up the people for whom the employee is making medical aid contributions. This includes the employee, as the member, spouse, children and dependents.

The Medical information of employees is confidential to the employee. Care should be taken to have the necessary permissions to record information and the way this information is used should be limited.
Medical Aid Membership

Indicate, for each employee, what contributions are to be made by the employee for self, spouse, children and dependants. If the Medical Aid schemes have not been setup already, under the Medical Aid setup table, then it may be necessary to setup the Medical Aid Organizations, schemes and types of membership available. The system will pick up the rates that have been entered for the scheme and type member type.

Blood Group
|
Enter the employee's blood group, if known and to be recorded.

Health Status
|
Use, or amend, the default list of Health Status values to suit your requirements.

Height
|
Enter the height of the employee in metres.
|
Weight
|
Enter the weight of the employee in Kg's.
|
BMI
|
The BMI value is automatically computed from the height and weight figures that have been entered.

Diet/ Health Conditions
|
Use, or amend, the default list of Diet/ Health Conditions to suit your organization. The default list is provided as a guideline, or some ideas, that can be expanded to suit individual requirements.

Enter the name and contact details of the employee's doctors
