At-Rest Encryption:

Data stored in Azure is encrypted using Azure Storage Service Encryption (SSE). This feature utilizes Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with 256-bit keys, which is one of the most secure encryption methods available.

In-Transit Encryption: Data transmitted between the client’s devices and Azure servers is protected by Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols. This ensures that data is encrypted while in transit, preventing unauthorized interception or tampering.

Encryption Keys Management: Azure Key Vault is used to manage and safeguard encryption keys. It allows for secure key management and control, ensuring that keys are rotated and updated regularly to maintain optimal security.

To further enhance data security, Belina Connect implements a separation strategy for storing client data. Each client’s data is isolated in separate storage accounts or containers within Azure. This segregation ensures that data belonging to one client cannot be accessed or interfered with by another client, providing an additional layer of security and privacy.

User Authentication and Access Control:

Access to Belina Connect is controlled through individual user authentication. Each user is required to have their own unique password, which provides a personalized security measure for accessing the system. Password protections are designed to prevent unauthorized access and ensure that only authenticated users can view or manage their specific data.

Password Requirements: To enhance security, passwords must adhere to stringent complexity requirements, including minimum length, and a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters.
