Grades - NEC

If employees are being paid according to NEC grades first create the NEC Grades, as shown below:

 

To enter a NEC Grade

Go to the 'Edit', 'Organizational', then 'Grades - NEC' menu options and from the table of current NEC Grades press 'Insert'.  Then enter NEC Grade details and press OK to save the NEC Grade.

To have the correct NEC amounts being deducted:

1.Set up the NEC grades that apply to your employees

2.Ensure that the correct hours and days per period have been setup for each grade, above.  

3.If the leave entitlement is by NEC grade go to the 'Setup' then 'Global Defaults' menus, select the 'Leave' tab and set the 'Leave Entitlement' radio button to 'NEC'.  

4.ensure that each employee has the correct NEC grade setup in each employee masterfile for the leave to accumulate correctly.

5.setup the NEC contribution rates applicable to each grade under the NEC Transaction Code.

 

If special working conditions apply to the NEC grade tick 'Custom Working Conditions'. Custom working conditions,allow the user to setup custom rates of pay, working days and hours for each grade.  

 

Belina PayrollHR requires at least one NEC Grade to be setup.  If NEC grades are not used in your organization then set up one NEC grade that will apply to every individual on the payroll.
