The terminals are delicate electronic equipment that need protection. Furthermore only qualified Belina staff are authorized to service internal parts. Evidence of tampering with equipment may result in adverse consequences.
Powerpoint
13Amp socket outlet preferably less than 2m from the terminal.
Network Point
A network point should be nearby.
Indoors
All terminals are designed to be installed indoors. If there is a need to install outdoors then the terminal needs to be adequately protected against the elements.
Light
Do not install the terminal in a place with strong sunlight. Direct sunlight on the scanner can cause damage to the terminal and affects scanning.
Moisture
The terminals should be protected against getting wet in any way. Ensure that the terminals are protected against the rain and that they are installed on dry surfaces.
Temperatures
The terminals work in a temperature range of 0-40?. Ensure that the terminals are not exposed to direct sunlight and heat from machinery.
Connections
When installing the device, please connect the power cable after connecting other cables.
Disconnection
If the device does not operate properly, be sure to shut down the power supply before performing necessary inspections. Note that any live-line working may cause damage to the device and the device damage arising out of live-line working falls beyond the scope of our normal warranty.
Out of Hours Clockings
Ensure that there is a terminal that can be accessed afterhours.
