When Promotions are processed a summary of the transactions are maintained in the HR side of the employee masterfile.  The latest Promotion is the first entry on the screen.   In order for the the promotions to show the Level From' and the 'Level to' the Positions have to be set up correctly under the Edit menu in the Payroll side of the system.
