Payroll - Delete

If a payroll is no longer required it can be deleted from the system.

 

If there is any information in the payroll that needs to be kept for future reference ensure that a backup has been taken and reports printed.  A backup of the payroll will enable the data to be re-installed at a later date.  This will not be the case if a backup is not taken.

 

Deleting the payroll will reduce the number of 'Active' employees counted for User Licence purposes.  The deletion is not reversible without restoring a backup so care should be taken.

 

To delete the payroll:

- Open a payroll other than the one being deleted

- Go to the 'File', then 'Delete' menu options

- Select the payroll to be deleted and press 'Delete'

- Enter the User 'Name' and 'Password'

- Press 'OK"

 

A delete confirmation message displays indicating that the deletion was successful.
