Error Code 37 We got this error when we were trying to import a spreadsheet. However the spreadsheet was open and caused the error. We then found it difficult to get rid of this message pressing OK a number of times and then having to resort to Ctl, Alt, Del to get rid of it.
Error Code 35 This error code came up when deleting an employee. We had created the employee by importing the details from spreadsheet. We were working on a standalone computer so there is no way that it could have been 'changed or deleted by another station'.

Communication link Failure (08S01) Networking problem. Occurs on a network workstation where communication to the Server is interrupted. The causes can be several, but can often occur if:
The remedy is correct the network error.
NB All unsaved data for the previous session will be lost
Solution is to make sure the server is on and the network is running perfectly then restart the payroll. If the error occurs on a stand-alone machine it means another program has stopped the SQL Server service from running. Go to Administrative tools from the Control Panel and choose Services. Try to restart the MSSQL Server service.
